2016 DOE Smart Grid Peer Review
The Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability held its biennial peer review of the Smart Grid R&D Program on August 16-17, 2016, at the Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation, Illinois Institute of Technology, in Chicago, IL. The meeting was held to seek input from independent, technical reviewers on the strengths and weaknesses of each R&D project in the Program’s two focus areas: Microgrid and Resilient Electric Distribution Grid. The review results will be used to help guide the projects toward meeting the Smart Grid R&D Program performance metrics, as well as to help support program planning and portfolio management.
Sixteen projects, along with an overview of the Smart Grid R&D Program, were presented at the 2016 Smart Grid R&D Peer Review. All presentations and project summaries are available for download.
